What Is Totus Tuus?
Totus Tuus is Latin for Totally Yours and is a faith-based summer camp. A team of four trained young adults from our archdiocese will travel to a parish site, sharing the faith through music, icebreakers, themed activities, Mass, prayer, crafts, skits, sports and games!
Day camp - Children entering Grades 1-6 & Evening Camp - Teens entering Grades 7-12.
The camp week has a faith theme - Through fun activities, discussions and games we will share the faith of the Church with our young people. Totus Tuus strives to help campers to get excited about their faith. The young adult missionaries act as witnesses to the faith. This teaches campers that being a witness to their faith in the world around them is a very realistic and worthwhile goal.
For the day camp, there will be outdoor time each day for the kids to enjoy the fresh air and summer weather. Organized games, sports and free time included.
The evening camp offers witness talks from the missionaries, small group discussions, prayer experiences, and social time. The team teaches in such a way as to continually offer a dialogue by which each person feels respected in his or her most basic dignity.
Day campers will receive as part of their registration fee an AWESOME Totus Tuus T-shirt
